Built in 1928, the historic Millwald Theatre in Wytheville, Virginia is newly renovated and reopened as a community venue, hearkening back to its roots as the hub of entertainment and social life in downtown Wytheville. The Millwald features a 500-seat auditorium, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, classroom space, patron's lounge, and more. In addition to live entertainment including music and comedy, the Millwald offers community and educational programming, event rentals, and collaborative partnerships with local non-profits.
